A total of £29.4 million is being invested to redevelop the Nottingham Castle site. Now closed for work to and due to re-open in 2020.
The closure has provided Nottingham Fire & Rescue with the perfect location for some confined space rescue training.
This was a great opportunity for me to photograph them practising their skills. It was fantastic to see just how much goes in to protecting both them and the people being rescued.
